Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) is a Community Action Agency, supervised by a Board of Directors that formed in 1964 as part of President Lyndon B. Johnson's War on Poverty. OLHSA supports Oakland and Livingston County residents with removing the burdens of poverty by providing individually tailored, wrap-around assistance for all individuals and families in need of help.

Board Information

The OLHSA Board meetings take place every third Wednesday of the following months: January, February, April, June, August, and October. December's Board meeting takes place the first Wednesday. The meeting time is 5:30 p.m. at OLHSA's central location: 196 Cesar E. Chavez, Pontiac, MI 48342.

Representatives from the public sector, private sector and the low-income community are equally represented on the Board of Directors. The insights and expertise brought by each group helps assess the needs, resources and opportunities that characterize Livingston and Oakland County communities.
