Established in 1983, the Economic Development Council of Livingston County (EDCLC) has been promoting investment and growth in Livingston County for over 35 years.  

In 2012, the EDCLC contracted Ann Arbor SPARK to provide County-wide economic development services. In partnership with the EDCLC, the expert staff from Ann Arbor SPARK are committed to creating economic prosperity here in Livingston County.

Mission Statement: The Economic Development Council of Livingston County is committed to strengthening the economic base for Livingston County through the retention, expansion, attraction, and development of jobs and capital investment. The EDCLC works closely with the private and public entities to facilitate community and economic development activities, strategic initiatives, and regional, national and international collaborations to the benefit of all Livingston County communities.
