Livingston County Board of Commissioners adopted resolution 105-039 on January 18, 2005 creating the Parks and Open Space Advisory Committee. The Committee was established to undertake activities especially related to the maintenance and development of park and open space land in Livingston County as assigned from time-to-time by the Board of Commissioners.

Meetings are held bi-monthly at 9:30 a.m. at County Administration Building, 304 E. Grand River Ave., Howell, MI. See the website for the complete schedule.
The membership shall consist of 7 - 12 members appointed for three year terms.
Committee members shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners after receiving recommendations from the Chairman of the Advisory Committee and will be subject to the affirmation of the Board of Commissioners.
